The Sr. Manager, Corporate HR will report directly to the Vice President, Corporate HR and will be charged with providing strategic people solutions in a transformative time for the Corporate organization. This role will be dedicated 50% to client facing responsibilities and 50% to special projects and initiatives to advance our ambitious strategic objectives.

This role will serve as the primary HR partner the Chief Information Officer of the Danaher Corporation. It requires the incumbent to lead and operationalize strategic client and/or company projects (which have enterprise-wide, global span) in the areas of organization design, talent and succession planning, leadership and associate development, engagement, and retention.The special projects and initiatives will focus on talent and succession planning, policy development, and cultural/leadership development initiatives.

These projects will span the entire Danaher Corporate organization and have the potential for wide-reaching impact. Manager, Corporate HR will link human resources strategies to business objectives, and counsel and advise management on a variety of topics related to talent including associate development, performance management, and diversity & inclusion. This position has responsibility for driving a variety of key processes including the Pipeline Growth Process, compensation planning, talent and leadership development, engagement surveys, and new leader immersion.This is a full-time role in Washington, DC, but open to other positions remotely.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on talent and organizational design challenges, including supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiative.Anticipate challenges and recommend strategic & innovative organizational solutions for complex problems, some limited to Corporate and others enterprise-wideSupport the development of top talent via the Pipeline Growth Process at Danaher Corporate for assigned client groups, including succession planning for critical roles & leading deep dive talent review sessions for assigned client groups as appropriate.Deliver change management consultation to clientsPartner with client groups and Talent Acquisition to acquire diverse and skilled talent for assigned client groups and effectively immerse new talent into the businessProvide consultation on the engagement & retention of associatesDrive successful execution of the performance management process within assigned client groups at Danaher Corporate including leading performance calibration sessions; coaching leaders on tough conversations; and creating performance improvement plans and development plans for senior-level clients.

Provide headcount management for assigned client groups to align strategies with business prioritiesCollaborate with clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, and job enhancements and ensure decisions are aligned with talent and skill gaps, development plans, and career pathing while ensuring movement aligns with company leveling guides and policyThe report assigned KPIs and utilized PSP or other DBS tools as needed to identify and implement root cause countermeasures when not hitting targetsComplete Corporate-wide projects (for example, policy design & implementation) to suit our ambitious growth objectivesEssential Requirements:Bachelor's in Human Resources/Organization Design/Development or related field with 10+ years of HR Experience OR Master's with 7+ years of Human Resources Experience, including a minimum 5 years prior experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior executives.Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional, global initiatives, processes, or projects and navigating dispersed stakeholder groups with disparate interestsExperience supporting clients across the globe. Demonstrated understanding of global HR considerations and experience collaborating with HR across geographies to accomplish strategic tasks.

Experience consulting, coaching, and influencing senior leadersSophisticated and demonstrated skills in strategic thinking, negotiating, coaching, business acumen, and project management; it is essential that candidates possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and high emotional intelligenceUnderstanding of the implications of and opportunities that exist for the HR function to have on the evolution and future success of an evolving organizationOrientation to results, continuous improvement, and customer service with a high sense of urgencyStrong prioritization and social contracting skills; a significant portion of the client group is comprised of senior leadersExperience leading or serving as a key contributor to medium to large-scale re-org, org alignment, and/or workforce planning effortsPreferred Requirements: Experience leading large-scale organization design projects, including the execution of global transformation initiatives and navigation of consultation requirements where applicable.Experience partnering closely with senior leader clients through Danaher's Pipeline Growth ProcessThe salary range for this role is $160,000 to 180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
